While we are grateful for the many books and magazines that have been donated to the Library, we cannot accept large amounts of used materials.
Exceptions to this policy are:
- Current hardcover novels and non-fiction will be accepted if in good condition.
- Brand new books given as a donation or memorial are always accepted. Donors are requested to consult with the Library Director beforehand to ensure beneficial placement of the donated book.
- Current magazines that we do not alreay own.
- Material of local historical significance will be accepted.
At the discression of the Library Director, all donated materials may not be shelved. Some materials may be held for book sales or free distribution.
Please hand deliver all donations to the library staff directly.
